Visiting the website
When you visit, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, requested page, browser. This data is kept in server logs and deleted after 14 days at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement exists with the hosting provider.
No cookies, no third-party content
jocuris sets no cookies and uses no advertising, analytics or social media services. Fonts, graphics and program code are stored on our own server. While you play, no connection to Google, Meta, TikTok or any other third party is made.
Games and progress
All games run entirely in your browser. Your input, answers and results are not sent to us. So that stars, personal bests and settings (sound, appearance) are there again at your next visit, your browser stores them locally on your device (local storage). This is not a cookie, we have no access to it, and you can delete the data at any time through your browser's site settings.
Read aloud
Some games for the youngest can read words aloud. For this, only the speech output of your device with locally installed voices is used. Network voices that would transmit text to third-party servers are not used. If no local voice is available, reading aloud stays off.
Contact
If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The message is deleted once the matter is settled, after 12 months at the latest, unless a statutory retention duty applies. We do not pass data on to third parties.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Write to info@jocuris.com at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen).
